Deadly sharp sunrise…
“Love the water puddles. Well composed, well post-processed. It’s all good!”
You can feel the joy…
“Love the little boy’s legs on the beach. You can see the reflection on the water. You can tell the joy!”
Doing the beach…
“Very nice. This is just good stuff. There is a theme, the beach. It is not easy. Nicely done. Doing the beach and doing it well. Congratulations!”

A beautiful review…
Maryann’s photography breathes with life, depth, bursts of color and texture. She has a master’s eye at working with light and creates stunning layered compositions. Truly an artist, her captured moments often look like paintings. She is also a very humble person who is a pleasure to work with.

Praise from a pro…
Maryann finds wonderful subject matter to photograph and fills the frame perfectly and beautifully. Simply put, she does great work. I once commented upon seeing her images that back in the day I would have hired her.

Magazine photographer…
Though typically a nature photographer, Maryann took on the task of photographing families to be featured in the monthly Mandarin Neighbors Magazine, a new adventure for her. I was impressed with her ability to utilize space and light to showcase each family. She warmed to each family and worked to bring out their personalities by helping them feel comfortable with the process. The result is clear in the many photos she took, but this is arguably one the magazine’s best cover shots…capturing golden hour on the river and a couple giving us a glimpse into their world and each other.
